About War

When ever there is a war it is never really about religion,  as some would have us believe, it’s about corporate greed, corruption, control of resources, exploitation of people’s labour, cheap oil or land….keep the masses ignorant and make more and more money..profit, profit at any cost.

One thing I would like to get clear from my perspective is I accept Jewish people as I do any one with or without religion and I support the American people but not who ever is running those countries at the moment.  I think in both cases they have lost their moral compass.

In regards to the middle east if there was more genuine goodwill on the Iraeli side and no support from the U.S. and others I am sure this conflict could be solved.  It has gone on for so long and obviously lots of hate and anger has built up over the years.  If my imaginary goodwill scenario happened there would always be hotheads who do something against the law in regards to the past but the governments of both sides would have to manage their people according to the law.   The situation at the moment is Israel hits out at the Palestinians with force that is out of proportion to the damage inflicted on them.

Sometimes when you  read about the endless brutality  and the peace process that never goes anywhere there must be some people who have a vested interest in keeping this conflict alive.  I would include the mainsteam media in this because most reports about the middle east are intended to show Israel in a good light and ignore the suffering of the Palestinians.  While the so called peace process continues the Israeli government allows more and more houses to be built on Palestinian land.

Unlike virtually every country in the world Israel does not have Internationally recognised borders, so where does this leave the Palestinians.
